The role of saturated fats in our diet continues to be a controversial one and, of course, it’s up to each and every one of us to make our own informed decision based on the ‘facts’ as we see them.
Well, the debate goes on and these two videos from Dr Oz discuss the view that we have been misled over the last few years and that saturated fats have been demonised unnecessarily. If you haven't come across Dr Oz before, he's an American syndicated television talk show host, a cardiothoracic surgeon and teaching professor at Columbia University who became famous for his appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Do bear in mind, however, that as with everything, balance is the key. If you only eat fat, you’ll get fat. But, if you eat the right kind of fat along with a balanced diet of natural, unprocessed, organic foods and include regular exercise into your daily routine then your body should be a healthier one.
